What an odd situation I have going on in my driveway now...
Removed the hood of the Lincoln in preparation for some serious work. It needs a few things, mechanically, but nothing too insane.

Lincoln update... The work that was supposedly not too insane was in fact pretty insane. I had to pull the oil pan with the engine still installed. That sucked. Also unexpectedly had to replace the steering gearbox due to a massive leak. After a large number of replaced parts, I have been driving it for about the last month. I probably have 50 trouble-free miles on it now. Somebody rear ended it one of the first few times I had it on the road. Luckily because the entire thing is basically made out of solid tungsten, the damage was minimal, just a little part of the bumper pushed in that you would only notice if it was pointed out. I'll get that fixed eventually. Michigan being a no-fault auto state makes it pretty much foolish to bother with insurance though. The power windows are in better shape than I thought. Only the driver's window has a problem that I need to dig into. The rest of them work well, but definitely need the 50 year old grease cleaned out of them.
