Eh, red band trailers for R-rated movies aren't unusual, they just can't be run with non-R rated movies.

I can't remember if the physical labels on them were red (green band trailers did indeed have green labels), but were were definitely marked to only run with R-rated features. They'd often ship with a particular movie print and be the last trailer before the feature.

For anyone who still doesn't get it, it's Ash Wednesday.

Ash is the name of the main character from Evil Dead/Army of Darkness and he has a chainsaw where his hand should be.
Otherwise the character in the photo is Wednesday Addams of the Addams Family.

Yesterday was Ash Wednesday, the start of Lent in the Catholic faith.

As near as I can tell, they had about 2:45 of weightlessness. NASA's vomit comet only does about 0:25, so I'm wondering how they did this. Maybe they weren't weightless the whole time? It looks like there are some points where it looks like they get gravity back. Maybe it's going up and down during the video?

I've never heard of the 'warsh' thing, might be an Americanism due to the accent, with it's stronly pronounced Rs.

And 'axe' (or 'aks') is a legitimate pronunciation of the word 'ask', it just dates back to Old English and isn't the standard nowadays. But why do people still say it? I dunno.

But thinking on it, 'aks' is a lot easier to say than 'ask', which requires a small degree of tongue gymnasitcs to say correctly. Therefore I conclude that 'aks' is the superior word because it is easier and more efficient to say, but unfortunately it's not correct.

I never understood the added "R" either. I've heard it on a few different words. I also dislike when a "S" gets added to the end of a word. "that one is mines" :smh:
The individuals using the Axe pronunciation probably aren't aware of it as an old english saying. It's used by the same people saying "mines", "boff" (instead of both), or "dat" (instead of that).

It is especially frustrating in a business environment.
